Yelp has a lot of improvements to make and I’m overall very dissatisfied, yet don’t have much better options for advertising as a small business and am just having to make do. It’s a huge waste of time replying to all of these unrelated messages at the fear my message response rate will be negatively impacted. I’ve also blacklisted and tried to block any tags and association with mariachi, yet the majority of my messages are requesting mariachi. Yelp is also frustrating in that it lumps Musical Instruments and Teachers into the same category despite them being two completely unrelated careers, I’m a violinist/teacher yet get bombarded with so many requests for guitar lessons, piano tunings and other unrelated requests, yet have to waste so much time replying or else my messages response rate goes down and is negatively impacted. ![]() I’m a small business that works hard for these reviews and it’s incredibly frustrating to not be able to showcase these reviews to potential clients.
